As we move from the ‘contain’ to ‘delay’ phase of coronavirus in the UK, there is an increasing risk of disruption to services for everyone. We want to assure our members that looking after your pensions is the Trustees’ top priority.
Whilst all sensible measures are being taken to mitigate the impact of the virus and keep services running as normal, we have had to consider plans if the situation worsens. We have decided that payment of pensions must be our top priority. This means that if services are affected, we will be putting pension payment processing to the forefront of what we prioritise. This could mean that other services may be disrupted and take a little longer than usual. We hope you understand the reasons for this and ask that you bear with us. Coronavirus is affecting us all and requires us all to pull together to get through this.
Something you can do to help is that if you do have questions or enquiries, can you please check the website first. The answer you need may already be here, so by checking the website you will potentially get a quicker answer and also help reduce the number of calls and enquiries we are responding to.
We’ll continue to monitor the situation and will provide you with updates on this page in the coming weeks.
