Equiniti, your pension payroll provider is upgrading their software and as a consequence, there will be a change to your payroll ID number (your unique pension reference number). Your pension in payment will not change and you will continue to receive your payments in the same way, to the same bank account.
Your monthly pension payment that follows this change, will generate a payslip to you, which will show your changed payroll ID number.
Equiniti is also required to notify HMRC of any changes to payroll ID numbers/references, which they will do electronically, as part of their standard reporting process, so no action is required by you.
